This year unexpectedly, both National Day and Hari Raya fell on the same day. For the first time, Merdeka celebration was not held on the 31st of August. As ICC annually have a walk called Merdeka Walk made some modification and turn it to be 1Malaysia Walk. Besides, Rtn. Gerard wanted to attend open houses on the 31st so Int. Shymala made the decision to have it on 16th of September. Well, plans went well on. Selected schools brought in hand-made banner sponsored by the Rotary Club of Klang.
Everyone gathered at the venue for the walk.
